Amelia Paro arrived at ID Agent with over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. In her most recent role she was an Executive Manager, focusing on developing marketing and sales goals for her Managed Service Provider. Amelia helped a young MSP grow from three employees to a thriving, successful company with ten employees and $1 Million in annual revenue, in less than four years.

This role helped her understand the challenges faced by MSPs and taught her how to tackle the immediate need for ROI after adopting a new technology solution. Amelia has experienced great success using Dark Web ID™ and ID Agent’s services during her four years with her MSP and is passionate about seeing Partners gain the same success and profitability! She attended Rio Salado College in Phoenix  AZ.

Michael Jacobsen is based in Los Angeles, and started at Spectrum Business in 2011. As a Channel Sales Manager he is focused on agent recruitment, development, and driving revenue growth. Prior to his L.A. based assignment, Michael recruited, trained and developed In Direct Sales Teams across the country for Time Warner Cable (Spectrum Business).

Before moving into the Alternate Channels, Michael acquired many years of Direct Sales and Sales Management experience in both the SMB and the Enterprise space.

Michael has held positions at Cable & Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, and TPX (TelePacific)..

Kelly Flint is Keap’s Channel Development Manager. In her 20+ years in the SMB world, she has educated more than 50k small businesses, associations, and nonprofits on how to successfully use digital marketing to drive business results. She has received awards from SMB influencers like SCORE, SBDCs, Chambers of Commerce and United Way. She lives and breathes Small Business, and owns her own business. Her home is a cabin in San Bernardino’s National forest.

Joe Tapias has joined Critical Start as a Director of Business Development-West.   Joe comes with the perspective of a business owner with over 20 years’ experience of fighting off cyber attacks at his financial services firm.  He works with Senior Executives, CFO’s, CISO’s, and HR and Payroll professionals who put trust in him to help implement state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions and MDR Services to protect their organizations data and proprietary information.

Joe resides in California with his wife of 30 years and two college aged boys that are athletes in baseball, surfing, and skiing.  He enjoys world travel, boating, skiing, and attempting to play golf.


Speaker Photo Dave Cunningham, Alvaka Networks

Dave Cunningham is the Business Technology Officer at Alvaka Networks.  He has been with Alvaka Networks for nearly 6 years. Prior to Alvaka, Dave founded Dempsey Bluevar, a Tivoli and IBM Premier Business Partner and Managed Service Provider.  Dave started his career as an Aerospace Engineer with Rockwell International, working on the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls system for the Space Shuttle.

Dave leads Alvaka’s DFARS Compliance Practice, enabling DOD contractors to meet their obligations to comply with emerging cybersecurity standards.  Most recently, Dave has been heavily involved in evangelizing Alvaka’s Patchworx Patch Management as a Service offering to mid-market and enterprise clients, enabling them to finally close a critical cybersecurity gap that has threatened them for years.

Clients engage Dave to tackle difficult issues that cannot be easily addressed by their internal IT departments. Dave’s experience with hundreds of complex challenges combined with access to a deep bench of engineering talent and a 24-hour US-based Network Operations Center (NOC) enables him to bring order to chaos and solve recurring problems that have persisted in his clients for years.

Doug Hazelman is a software industry veteran with over 20 years experience. Doug is currently VP of Technical Marketing for CloudBerry Labs. Doug engages with customers as well as the MSP community to help spread the CloudBerry message as well as get feedback on products and services. Doug has held various management positions at other software companies throughout his career, joining CloudBerry after spending 9.5 years at Veeam Software.

Ravi Chatwani is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Prosum, a technology services firm with offices in Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Denver and Phoenix. Prosum has a team of over 250 providing Managed Services, Microsoft Consulting, and IT Staffing. Prosum is a privately held, former Inc. 500 business that has been ranked as the 12th Best Company to Work For by LA Business Journal. Ravi oversees Prosum’s valuable portfolio of clients and strategizes in keeping pace with the ever-evolving tech world and is the key cultivator of building long-lasting partnerships. Ravi has a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California, and completed the MIT Entrepreneurial Masters Program.

Ravi has been a member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) for over 15 years and has served as Chapter Chair. A firm believer in giving back, he serves on the Board of the Los Angeles Food Bank. Ravi also serves as a management consultant advisory board member to companies such as Adriden Global, a global security and intelligence firm. Ravi’s passion is leadership and speaks on Unlocking Human Potential at several regional conferences, business organizations, universities, colleges, corporations, board meetings, and, for twenty plus years, to the valued team members of Prosum. Born in India, raised in Ohio, Ravi now lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife and two daughters.

Outside of work Derek is privileged to spend much time with his wife Joy, and 5 children (Kalee, Kaitlyn, Bailey, Kellan, & Faith) at the beach and in the wilderness.
